How You'll Make An Impact
As a Senior Analyst, you will inform and shape the decisions of security and business leaders in Australia and globally. You will provide real-time intelligence support to high-profile cyber incidents and generate well-researched intelligence reports that help our customers understand their cyber threat profile, and what they can do about it.
Day to day you will:
* Monitor the global and regional threat landscape to identify and action threat information and to develop subject matter expertise across particular sectors and/or geographies.
* Manage a portfolio of customer relationships, prepare and disseminate intelligence in a timely and actionable manner, and elicit feedback on intelligence products.
* Identify intelligence collection priorities for diverse customers, identify and improve collection sources, and mobilise a diverse team to meet priorities through daily intelligence collection activities.
* Collect and synthesise information from multiple sources and use analytic techniques to validate, prioritise and contextualise information relevant to your portfolio and customers.
* Write short form intelligence SITREPs and advisories, often under time pressure, for cyber practitioners and longer form intelligence reports for business leaders.
* Lead, coach and mentor Associate Analysts and Analysts from diverse backgrounds and with diverse skillsets.
Key skills and attributes
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to analyse and amalgamate diverse information to deliver results
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce oral and written products with structure, clarity and precision
* Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills and a track record of delivering results in high-pressure environments
* Developed understanding of the region's cyber threat landscape.
Experience and qualifications
* At least 5 years' relevant professional experience, with experience in intelligence and consulting both highly regarded.
* Fluency in the intelligence lifecycle, analytic techniques, and open source intelligence.
* Familiarity with common cyber threat intelligence frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model or Cyber Kill Chain.
* Minimum Bachelor's degree.
