Are you an expert in civil plant maintenance and road reserve infrastructure? Our Technical Officer Built Environment role could be for you We're looking for a qualified and experienced individual to support the coordination of maintenance across our road networks. You'll support us in keeping our plant and equipment up to date and assist with the planning and delivery of our road reserve projects, such as the Roadside Vegetation Program.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical guidance on the maintenance and management of Wellington Shire Council's road network, including drainage and paths.
* Investigating and responding to customer enquiries relating to Council's road networks, drainage and paths.
* Plan and manage minor capital and maintenance projects, including performing community engagement.
* Provide supervision and support to the Plant Maintenance team.
* Oversee permit process for heavy vehicles on our road network.

About You
Our ideal candidate for this role will have a tertiary qualification and experience in civil engineering, asset management, maintenance management, or environmental science. They'll be an expert at managing projects, from customer engagement to delivery. Our Technical Officer will have a strong understanding of plant and equipment used in civil construction and demonstrate significant knowledge of road reserve infrastructure.
Ability to obtain and maintain a current Victorian Driver's Licence and currency in Traffic Management Designer is a requirement for the role.
