We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and infrastructure. The Data Engineer will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is properly collected, stored, and analyzed to support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Work with a team of product managers, data scientists, data analysts and software engineers
* Implement our data strategy by providing expert guidance in data and machine learning engineering.
* Implement the technical strategy for data infrastructure and ML systems
* Implement architecture and design of scalable data pipelines and ML platforms
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement ML solutions
* Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
* Work to project timelines, resources, and deliverables
* Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards are met
* Partner with product and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
Candidate Criteria:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Experience in data engineering or machine learning engineering
* Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages
* Experience with cloud data technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, etc.)
* Experience in developing and deploying ML models
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
* Understanding of data architecture and ML system design
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with MLOps tools and practices
* Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
* Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with data governance and compliance requirements
* Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies
