Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Overview
This role involves working as a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Maintenance Team at our woodchip site in Eden, NSW. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and undertakes production related plant and equipment maintenance tasks for the terminal.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform diesel mechanical & plant fabrication fitting and maintenance tasks.
* Carry out breakdown diagnostics and rectification procedures.
* Work on trucks, trailers, loaders, dozers and various auxiliary equipment.
* Ensure production assets are maintained and available in a safe and effective condition.
* Make recommendations for the replacement of equipment & machinery where required.
* Record work schedules and maintenance accurately.
Qualifications and Experience
* A Certificate III in Engineering is essential.
* Mechanical Trade is also necessary.
* A proven track record of successful experience as a technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting is highly advantageous.
* A current and valid motor vehicle driver's license is required.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
* Experience with following Safe Operating Procedures and using hazard identification and risk management techniques is beneficial.
* Experience with the AMPRO system is highly advantageous.
