* 10+ years experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
* 5+ years experience in Data Lifecycle Management, Data Governance, Data Strategy, and Risk / Compliance.
* Demonstrable knowledge of applicable industry risk frameworks and data quality practices.
* Telecommunications industry experience.
* Knowledge of the Australian telco / multimedia / service industries.
Technical / Professional Skills :
* Experience working with relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
* Proficient in data analytics processes including data collection, ETL, data wrangling, data cleaning, data mining, data visualization, and data presentation using tools like Excel, Power BI, Python, and R.
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence without direct reporting lines.
* Change management skills to drive adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
* Strong expertise in data management and governance roles, principles, processes, and procedures.
Non-Technical / Soft Skills :
* Lateral, strategic thinker with excellent conceptual reasoning.
* Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Ability to manage time across complex projects running in parallel.
