About the role
The Scheduler/Customer Service Coordinator is part of our small team, scheduling work for our branches across NSW. The role involves engaging with stakeholders over the phone, administering notes, scheduling jobs, and supporting Branch Managers, Team Leaders, customers and Construction Supervisors to ensure trucks arrive on site on time and ready with the right products to install height safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule jobs between trucks to service various building sites for our branches.
* Liaise closely with Branch Manager and installers, facilitating smooth operations throughout the day.
* Receive and respond to phone calls (inbound and outbound) and email enquiries from customers.
* Optimise schedules to achieve maximum branch profitability.
* Troubleshoot, problem‐solve and resolve concerns or issues.
* Perform administrative responsibilities: entering bookings, purchase orders and assisting with invoicing queries.
About You & Qualifications
Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be critical to the success of this role. Intermediate exposure within the construction industry is highly regarded.
* Prior experience in a scheduling or call‐centre environment.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging internal and external stakeholders effectively.
* Construction/Building Services background highly regarded.
* Comfortable completing administrative duties.
* Intermediate computer skills.
* Problem‐solver who can think outside the box, finding innovative solutions to challenges.
* High attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
