JME Excavations is a Hawkesbury based Civil Contractor specializing in civil construction across Sydney. We are currently looking to grow our team with an experienced Civil Estimator/Project Engineer.
To be suitable for the role the right candidate must be an experienced estimator who can take ownership of the pricing and tendering process.
* Minimum 5 years of local experience in civil estimating
* Strong background in excavation, remediation, and structural systems
* Proficient in estimating & Microsoft software
* Exceptional attention to detail, time management and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental considerations
What is Required
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil projects
* Review tender documentation and liaise with clients
* Analyse subcontractor and supplier quotes
* Prepare and submit tender packages
* Work collaboratively with the project team from tender award to completion
