About The Role: The role involves heavy collaboration with internal project managers, developers and external clients, so applicants must be articulate and possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor while solving challenging problems. The candidate must be a self-starter who likes problem solving, possesses a keen technical aptitude, is proficient at learning new systems and technologies quickly and thrives on working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The candidate should possess 2-3 years of post-university work experience in a technology-related role within the financial services vendor space, or in a comparable role at a buy-side or sell-side market participant firm; the ideal candidate will have this same level of experience at an OMS/PMS/EMS vendor firm and possess a working understanding of the FIX protocol. What You'll Do: Efficiently manage to completion onboarding projects for hedge funds and asset managers Meet with clients to discover their trading objectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements Communicate with external brokers to facilitate trade execution Configure trader accounts, company environments, and trade routes Configure GUIs so traders are given access to trade information on their home screens Work closely with developers to add new features that aren’t included out-of-the-box Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality results within specified timelines Analyze project requirements and provide complete documentation of the creation of functional analyses, runbooks and workflow reports Provide onsite and remote training for front office, back office, portfolio managers and compliance officers on the LiquidityBook product suite Manage firm’s vendor-client relationships, which include technology teams, prime brokers, fund administrators and executing brokers on behalf of the client Configure End of Day files for trade communication and compliance purposes Consistently follow up with clients post-project, with the core purpose of enhancing user experience and identifying any upsell opportunities What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree or University degree equivalent required 2-3 years of experience preferred; recent graduates also encouraged to apply Analytical thinking, problem solving and the ability to manage multiple projects and client expectations Experience with databases and knowledge of SQL Working understanding of the FIX protocol Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills Technical aptitude and desire to learn new technologies and languages Working knowledge and deep interest in financial markets and the investment process Able to work in a team setting and meet strict deadlines Company Overview: FactSet Research Systems Inc. is a global provider of integrated financial information, analytical applications and industry-leading services for the investment and corporate communities.
