Qualified Gardener / Horticulture Worker
We're looking for a qualified and experienced gardener to join our team. This role requires someone who can work independently and apart of a team, communicate well with clients and team members, and take pride in delivering high-quality garden maintenance and Landscaping.
About the Role:
- Perform general garden maintenance, including mowing, pruning, hedging, and planting.
- Identify plant health issues and provide appropriate care.
- Use and maintain garden tools and equipment safely.
- Work independently, managing your schedule efficiently while meeting high standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with clients.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep accurate job notes and photos of completed work for record-keeping and client updates.
What We're Looking For:
- Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent qualification).
- AHCMG301 - Control weeds Certification
- AHCCHM304 - Transport and store chemicals - Certification
- Experience in garden maintenance, landscaping and reticulation.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to take initiative.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and development to improve skills.
- Reliable transport to the job site—a company vehicle and equipment will be provided for jobs.
