Apprentice - Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Embark on a rewarding journey with Cleanaway Shepparton, VIC, as we seek an Apprentice to play a vital role in maintaining heavy vehicles in accordance with relevant transport legislation and standards. This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay rates. A toolkit will be provided and all necessary training, including the provision of a Heavy Rigid license.

Responsibilities:
* Learn and assist in maintaining road vehicles and plant machines to meet legislative standards.
* Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance services.
* Address driver daily vehicle reports (DVR) under supervision and file as required.
* Assist in fault diagnostics for mechanical and electrical issues.
* Support test drives or equipment operations to ensure correct repairs.
* Contribute to ensuring all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly.
Skills and Experience:
* Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship – no prior experience required.
* Eagerness to learn and contribute to the maintenance of heavy and light vehicles.
* Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
* Strong commitment to safety.
