Patent Attorney – Chemical/Chemistry (2yrs‐Senior Associate) – Brisbane

Your Role
As a critical member of the firm's Chemical team, you will advise and create strategies to protect and enforce patent rights for blue‐chip local and international clients.
* Apply technical expertise and commercial acumen to advise and create strategies protecting and enforcing patent rights for blue‐chip local and international clients.
* Draft and prosecute patents across a wide range of inventions, including pharmaceuticals, medicinal products, agriculture, electro‐chemistry, chemical processes, food, medical devices, treatment methods, and animal health.
* Work with clients in industries such as health/personal care, organic, pharmaceutical, agricultural, medicinal, biotech, industrial chemical, clean energy, food & beverage.

Qualifications
* Minimum 2–10+ years of patent experience up to senior associate level.
* Registered patent attorney in Australia, NZ, or Europe, or an overseas qualified patent attorney currently pursuing Australian/NZ qualification.
* Degree or higher qualifications (preferably PhD) in Chemistry or a related field.
* Solid hands‐on experience in prosecuting and drafting patents.
* Strong technical, communication, people, and commercial acumen.
