We're located in the heart of Sydney Harbour National Park - Manly, offering a range of incredible experiences from boutique accommodation, stunning wedding venues, modern conference facilities, a waterfront restaurant and Sydney's best ghost and history tours.

The Opportunity
As a Tour Guide at our site, you'll accompany visitors on tours, providing informative commentary about the historical, cultural, and ecological significance of key points of interest. You'll assist with the coordination of transport for guests and visitors to and from various locations within the site, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the experience.
You'll deliver engaging and insightful commentary, answer visitor questions, and offer recommendations for local activities and services. Additionally, you will collaborate with other guides and tourism professionals to enhance tour itineraries and experiences, while maintaining accurate records of schedules, participant numbers, and feedback.
About This Role
* Be a storyteller, lead engaging history, educational, and ghost tours, bringing Australian history and the paranormal to life with your passion and knowledge.
* Inspire and educate, share your expertise in history, nature, and local culture across tours, team-building activities, and educational programs.
* Deliver memorable experiences, oversee ghost tours, recreational programs (e.g., kayak and paddleboard tours), and school holiday activities with seamless execution.
* Ensure guest satisfaction, manage inquiries, bookings, and customer service with a solution-focused, positive approach.
* Maintain safety standards, conduct site checks, risk assessments, and safety briefings to ensure a safe environment for all activities.
* Work independently and collaboratively, coordinate with teams, design programs, and ensure smooth operations across all guest experiences.
Criteria
* Tertiary qualification and/or at least 1 year experience desired.
* A passion for history and the paranormal with the impetus to learn more.
* Previous experience with providing engaging audience experiences for a variety of groups.
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
* A self-motivator and positive problem solver.
* Be energetic and comfortable working in a physical, outdoor role.
* Maintain a current driver's license (desirable).
* Current Working With Children Check or the willingness to obtain one before employment.
* Current First Aid certificate.
* The willingness and flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
