Job Description
Distag QCS is a rapidly expanding business distributing engineering components to manufacturers and distributors across the UK and Ireland. We operate in four divisions: Mechanical Power Transmission, Hydraulic Components, Agricultural Trailer Parts and Accessories, and Bespoke Products.
The company requires an ambitious sales professional to join our fast-growing team. This exciting opportunity involves working in a customer-facing environment, building strong relationships with our customer base both in the office and in the field.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work flexible hours to carry out the duties associated with the post. The successful applicant will have some sales or business experience in engineering products, preferably within one of our product divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs and requirements.
* Liaise between suppliers and customers to ensure effective communication.
* Provide technical information to the sales team and customers across Ireland and the UK.
* Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers.
* Manage and interpret customer requirements to deliver exceptional service.
* Advise clients on products or services that best satisfy their needs.
* Offer after-sales support services to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Relevant sales experience preferably within one or more of our product divisions.
* A degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering (beneficial but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong sales orientation, enthusiasm, and motivation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Working Hours
The working hours for this post are 40 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break. However, flexibility may be required to fulfill the duties associated with the post.
