Estimator Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates for construction projects.
About the Role:
* Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and variations using advanced estimating software.
* SUMmarize the scope of works and tenders, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the delivery team to prepare proposals that meet client needs.
* Prepare initial estimating assessments of tenders for review and approval.
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal procurement teams to negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably in fit-out and refurbishment and/or new-build construction.
* Degree qualified in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
* Experience estimating on retail, education, commercial, and government projects up to $15 million.
* Advanced skills in CostX or similar estimating software.
* Excellent communication, financial acumen, and attention to detail.
