About the Role: As a Carpenter with Khambral Carpentry Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
* Interpreting blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications.
* Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, cabinets, countertops, and molding.
* Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials.
* Assembling, levelling, and installing building frameworks with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes.
* Inspecting and repairing damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures.
* Leading and directing labourers and construction helpers.
* Preparing on-site drawings for cabinetry, framing, and other projects.
* Creating mock-ups for client approval before starting work.
* Constructing window frames, doors, staircases, and cabinetry using raw materials or pre-constructed components.
* Framing room additions and other structural modifications.
* Selecting high-quality materials and evaluating them for defects.
* Ensuring compliance with building codes, especially for kitchen and bathroom remodelling projects.
* Installing flooring, roofing, and drywall with precision to ensure compatibility and levelling.
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills: To succeed in this role, you should possess:
* Certificate III in Carpentry (or higher).
* A minimum of 2 years of professional carpentry experience.
* The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* An artistic mindset with keen attention to detail.
