The Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH) is the peak body for community mental health and wellbeing in Queensland. Representing more than 120 member organisations, we advocate for change, build capacity, and collaborate to strengthen the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Sector for all Queenslanders.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Project Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across QAMH's diverse portfolio of projects. This includes grant-funded initiatives such as the Workforce Implementation Project (2024–2029) and internal business improvement projects such as SharePoint redevelopment, CRM functionality, and project management system implementation.
The role ensures that projects are delivered efficiently, systems are purposeful and well maintained, and both external and internal initiatives achieve their intended outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Project Administration – Provide administrative and coordination support across grant-funded and internal projects.
* Secretariat Duties – Manage advisory and project groups, including agendas, minutes, membership, and action tracking.
* Consultations & Events – Support the planning and delivery of workshops and consultations including logistics, registrations, and follow-up.
* Systems Management – Maintain and improve organisational systems such as SharePoint, Salesforce CRM, and
* Monitoring & Reporting – Develop dashboards, surveys, and reports to support evaluation, reporting obligations, and accountability.
* Communications – Draft, proof, and format project documents, reports, and communications, and contribute content for newsletters, website, and social media.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with project officers, advisors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of milestones and reporting.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a skilled and organised administrator with:
* Experience in project administration and coordination, ideally in the not-for-profit, health, or community services sector.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project management or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing agendas, minutes, and reports.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently manage responsibilities.
* An understanding of the community mental health sector, or willingness to learn.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting grant-funded projects and internal business improvement initiatives.
* Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation approaches, including survey tools and dashboards.
