This represents a rare opportunity with a highly reputable and recognised property developer based in the Maitland region. This company specializes both the residential and commercial sectors. This company is well known in the industry for their high standards and timely delivery of their projects.
POSITION
Due to growth and expansion, the position of Financial Accountant has been created to take this company to the next level.
Reporting to the CFO and Financial Controller, this role will entail the following:
* All financial and statutory reporting across the company's related entities (100+)
* BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT
* All other month end/year end related duties
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* CA/CPA
* Degree qualified
* 5+ years experience within a similar position managing the affairs of a multi entity medium sized company circa $100m T/O (construction or property development)
* Public practice experience highly desirable if there is exposure to construction/property developer clients
* Experience with Xero and various Xero Add Ons
* Strong technical tax knowledge
* Exceptional communication and presentation
* Stable employment history
Candidates with public practice experience are highly desirable.
