Linux Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux infrastructure specialist to join our team. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure systems.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Senior Linux Engineer
* Experience with L3-level RHEL versions 6, 7, 8, and 9 and/or Oracle Linux in a large enterprise environment
* Proficiency in RHEL Satellite -version 6 for managing a large fleet, including experience with the 'hammer' CLI
* Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation - Red Hat Ansible- AAP, including writing and running complex playbooks for system automation
* Expertise in major-version Linux upgrades - LEAPP
* Strong understanding of Core Infrastructure
* Knowledge of VMWare virtualisation
* Experience with Microsoft AD integration
* Experience with Java and JBoss
* Ability to design, build, and maintain the Linux Standard Operating Environment-SOE, including host and server build-outs
* Experience in integrating Linux hosts with Microsoft Active Directory for authentication and managing audit settings
* Ability to define, test, and implement a robust security matrix
* Experience in designing and deploying critical security and monitoring tools-Airlock, Splunk, SolarWinds
* Australian citizenship is required
