What you'll do
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Accurately perform payroll functions including Rostering and rostering adjustments in a timely manner; liaising with line managers where necessary, to ensure accurate data and reporting is available to line managers to enable efficient workforce management.
- Work collaboratively with other team members within Payroll Services to optimise customer service and improve service delivery.
- Maintain a working knowledge of human resource system applications, industrial awards, agreements and policies associated with Payroll Services and system enhancements associated with functionality.
- Liaise with payroll services staff in relation to investigations/actions of errors associated with roster processing or roster adjustments.
- Maintain adherence with quality and assurance requirements, including completing checklists as required and ensure accurate filing and archiving of documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with business processes.
- Perform other tasks as directed.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Demonstrated ability to enter data into a computerised rostering solution in an accurate and efficient manner with experience (or the ability to rapidly acquire the skills) to utilise rostering adjustment solutions.
- Well-developed communication skills with demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service to various stakeholders in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team setting to meet established processing timeframes to ensure team outcomes are achieved.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise standard business processes and apply to all work processed to ensure accurate and timely pay outcomes.
