About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Diversity Officer within our Programs Team. The role involves coordinating and delivering rehabilitation, reintegration and specialist support services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct support and advocacy for individuals with diverse needs.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to co-coordinate and deliver specialist services.
* Contribute to case management activities and provide practice advice and support on diversity-related issues.
* Research and implement programs responsive to diverse cohorts' needs.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with diverse populations, including multicultural, multifaith and LGBTIQ+ communities.
* Experience in coordinating and delivering support services, preferably in a rehabilitation or social services field.
* Understanding of unique challenges faced by diverse and marginalized communities, and knowledge of available supports and services.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Other Information
The position is based at Marngoneet Correctional Centre and Karreenga Annex, a medium-security facility located north-west of Lara, near Geelong.
