Our mission is bigger than ever, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised Children’s Safety Presenter to join our team and deliver our important safety message to Australian Children. About the position There are two key parts to the role & we need candidates who are comfortable across both parts: Delivering an interactive, high-energy safety show for children: Involves singing, dancing, and audience engagement Either in the lion cub mascot suit (non-speaking) or as the show facilitator (guiding and leading the session) Handling admin tasks: Booking and following up shows Using HubSpot CRM daily Managing equipment and stock levels This is a school-term only role with no work during school holidays, making it ideal for someone seeking flexibility and a healthy work–life balance. The position is part-time, with hours from Monday to Wednesday, 8:30am to 4:00pm (21 hours per week). We pay in line with the SCHADS award, and this role is classified at social and community Level 2 (plus super, plus salary sacrifice). Please note: We are advertising two similar but distinct positions — one for a Team Leader role and one for an individual contributor role. To ensure a smooth and fair recruitment process, we kindly ask candidates to apply for only one position that best matches their skills and career goals About the team Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure program offers personal safety education for children in early years to lower primary, fully aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the Australian Curriculum. Starring Bravehearts’ lovable lion cub ‘Ditto’ and a specially trained presenter, deliver a fun, interactive show to schools and early learning centres. The team is an exceptional group of dedicated individuals. They work tirelessly to deliver each Ditto Show with energy, enthusiasm, and genuine engagement. Thanks to their commitment, an incredible 1,464,961 children have experienced the Ditto Show since its inception in 2006. Their care and kindness extend beyond the stage—they support one another with compassion and genuine respect. About You Your work experience could be in performing arts, education, or administrative roles; however, you must be equally comfortable performing in front of an audience as you are completing end-to-end administrative tasks with confidence and efficiency You will bring an adaptable, flexible, and patient approach to your work Excellent communication skills are among your key strengths, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences. This is a physically active role, so applicants must be able to perform duties without limitations from pre-existing conditions You must either currently hold a Working with Children Blue Card or be willing to obtaining one.
