Front Office Staff Manager is responsible for evaluating the function of the Front Office – ensuring that staff numbers are correct for needs, that staff are fulfilling their role well, have the equipment they need and that patients are being well taken care of.

Responsibilities include:
1. Demonstrate
excellent customer service skills and mentor optimal patient interactions.
2. Keep
up to date with practice dental software features and be proficient in its
use.
3. Train and upskill front office staff as required
4. Addressing
discrepancies in patient accounts
5. Recovery
of outstanding debts.
6. Reconcile
daily HICAPS/NAB receipts.
7. Manage
discrepancies with health insurance fund billing and government schemes
8. Ensure
monthly Preventative Care Patient recall lists are addressed regularly
9. Updating
fees into computer for Health Insurance Fund and ADA updates.
10. Plan,
prepare, run and follow up Front Office Coordinator meetings.
11. Assisting
in coordinating the roster for Front Office.
12. Assisting
in recruitment and training of new Front Office Staff
13. Other
duties as delegated by Practice Manager by negotiation.
