Position Description: Machine Operators (Multiple Positions)

Hours: 40-50 hours per week
Pay Rate: $43 - $56 per hour + super + penalties
️ About the Role
Worksforyou Recruitment is seeking experienced Machine Operators for upcoming works with a reputable client. These roles will involve operating machinery on active civil construction sites, contributing to high-quality project delivery in a safe and efficient manner.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators looking for consistent hours, strong pay rates, and ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating machinery including:
o Excavators
o Rollers
o Skid Steers (desirable)
* Working in and around live civil construction sites
* Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance
* Working alongside labourers and site supervisors
* Following all site safety procedures and SWMS requirements
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
✅ Mandatory Requirements
* Relevant plant tickets / VOCs
* White Card (Construction Induction Card)
* Asbestos Awareness Certificate
* Silica Awareness Certificate
* Ability to pass a Police Check
* Proven experience operating machinery on civil sites
* Strong understanding of site safety and compliance
* Highly Desirable
* GPS / final trim experience
* Experience on large civil or Defence projects
* Additional tickets (Confined Space, Working at Heights)
* HR licence
