The Department of Mathematics and Systems Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, starting in August 2025. This is a three-year, 9-month contract position with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

The position involves teaching up to four undergraduate courses per semester, with a focus on curriculum design and instructional effectiveness. Experience with teaching innovation tools is a plus.
Responsibilities:
* Teach up to four undergraduate courses per semester using modern instructional techniques.
* Integrate technology, such as interactive software and digital resources, to enhance learning.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and exploration.
* Mentor and advise students to support their academic and career development.
Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field.
* Experience teaching Calculus to students across engineering and science majors, demonstrating pedagogical excellence.
* Proficiency with educational technology, including software like MATLAB and Python, and online platforms.
* Strong communication skills and ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
