**You will do this by**:
- Providing expert advice, direction and leadership to Arrears and Debt Management staff in the management of arrears and the collection of debts whilst showing personal drive, commitment and integrity.
- Providing accurate, clear and timely advice to senior management as required.
- Ensuring that correspondence, reports and submissions are accurate and provided within the given timeframes and produced in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Providing advice to customers and other stakeholders about the department's requirements in relation to the payment of repayment arrears and the collection of customer debts.
- Building and supporting effective working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, in response to customer's needs.
- Ensuring that all enquiries received by the work unit are resolved in a timely manner.
- Planning and organising work, including the use of innovation and change to achieve results.
- Supporting policy implementation and continuous improvement to systems and processes through system appraisals.
- Leading and ensuring you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
