Specialised Dementia Care Worker
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated workers to join our Specialist Dementia Care Unit. As a member of our team, you will deliver high-quality care to residents living with complex dementia-related needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred care to older individuals living with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).
* Support daily living activities in accordance with personalised care plans, respecting cultural preferences and family needs.
* Observe and report changes in residents' health, mobility and cognitive status to clinical staff.
* Promote independence and rehabilitation-focused care to enhance residents' dignity and quality of life.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
* Experience in residential aged care.
* Knowledge and experience in dementia care.
* Current National Police Certificate.
* Understanding of BPSD.
