The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 9-month contract with a well-known and respected organisation. This role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to be hands-on with a major system implementation while working alongside a collaborative and high-performing finance team. The Role This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in a variety of core accounting and reporting responsibilities. Manage general ledger activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end close Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating variances as required Support statutory accounts preparation and assist with year-end audit requirements Maintain the fixed asset register and support tax-related reporting Oversee billing, direct debit, and credit card processes to ensure accuracy and compliance Review supplier payment runs, ensuring correct approvals and timely processing Actively participate in ERP migration, including UAT testing, data integrity checks, and process mapping Collaborate with the Financial Controller and wider team on reconciliations, process improvements, and ad-hoc projects About You Preferably be CA/CPA qualified Relevant experience within a commercial finance role Exposure to ERP implementation or upgrades is desirable Applications If you're interested in taking the next step in your career, please apply now or contact Jared Ooi on 02 9775 5932 or email jared.ooi@perigongroup.com.au for more information.
