Senior Site Manager (QLD Team)
I'm partnering with a national leading design and construction contractor delivering outstanding commercial fitout projects across retail, hospitality, office, and wellness sectors. Renowned for their end‑to‑end approach—combining planning, design, project management, and construction—they focus on innovation, technical excellence, and safety. They're now seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their QLD team .
Base pay range
A$150,000.00/yr - A$170,000.00/yr
Job Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, schedule, and execute projects, interpreting specifications, drawings, and programs to ensure smooth site delivery.
* Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff, maintaining a safe, organised, and compliant work environment.
* Develop and maintain labour and material schedules, procure resources efficiently, and monitor utilisation to meet key milestones.
* Champion a strong safety culture, conduct site inductions and inspections, and ensure work meets all quality, compliance, and Australian standards.
* Serve as the on‑site representative, communicating with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams while providing timely project updates and reporting.
* Anticipate potential issues, troubleshoot site challenges, and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience supervising large commercial building or fitout projects (hotel, retail, hospitality, office).
* Trade‑based qualification in a relevant field.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and people management skills.
* Excellent communication, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
* A current QBCC Site Supervisor License is required.
* Must hold a valid Australian driver's license and be legally entitled to work in Australia.
