 
        
        Inventory Controller (6-month FTC) - Ingleburn

About the Opportunity We have an opportunity for an experienced Inventory Controller, who is looking to join a large organisation on a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Inventory Manager you will support continuous improvements and promote service excellence through open and timely communication throughout the business unit. 
The role is responsible for providing inventory oversight and control for inventory being managed through the Ingleburn and external storage sites. 
Working hours will be Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm. 
Key Responsibilities: 
Manage all elements of inventory control including (Cycle Counting, Stock adjustments, damages, inventory accuracy, stocktakes, manage the flow of inbound stock) Proactive management of bay capacity within the DC 
Working with relevant stakeholders to refine the inventory policy at site level 
Maintaining the Warehouse Management System (WMS) housekeeping requirements 
Participate in, and conduct Root 
Cause Analysis activities 
Manage & update Stock Gains & Losses in WMS 
Ensure all WMS transactions are completed appropriately, and on time 
Coordinate Daily, Weekly, Monthly Cycle Counts, and Inventory Control routines for stock rotation and Quality Control 
Coordinate bi-annual audited stock take of all product and produce financial summary of reconciliation. 
About You 
You are a logistics professional with at least 3+ years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment. Other desirable skills are: 
Ability to understand supply chain as a service provider, responding to market needs and delivering services that support differentiation and price premium 
Experience with manufacturing/operations systems and processes 
Experience with planning systems and a thorough understanding of MRP processes 
Ability to understand inventory management business systems. 
Ability to communicate and articulate inventory updates order to drive action
