Warehouse Assistant | Langton's Warehouse - Hoppers Crossing | Casual
About the Role: We're looking for an energetic, dependable team member to support our warehouse operations. Your day will involve breaking down pallets, manual lifting, picking and packing orders, ensuring freight is accurately scanned and sorted, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for your teammates. You'll also help keep the warehouse running smoothly by performing routine checks on mobile handling equipment and following all established processes and procedures.

Responsibilities
* Engage in various warehouse duties such as breaking down pallets, manual lifting and picking and packing orders
* Ensure all freight is scanned and sorted every day
* Work on making sure all checks are carried out on MHE daily
* Ensure all Nexday processes and procedures are followed at all times
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for your team members
* Use a collaborative approach and make positive contributions to our team culture
* Maintain positive relationships with delivery drivers and customers alike
What You'll Need To Succeed
* This casual role requires full-time availability, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 6am and 4pm
* Physically fit and able to conduct repetitive tasks, with lifting of freight up to 20kg
* Reliable and punctual with an excellent attendance record
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work in a team environment
* A can‐do attitude with a willingness to learn
* An LF forklift license is advantageous for this role
