Join Our Team as a Support Worker – Making a Difference in the Lives of Children and Adults - CASUAL - IMMEDIATE START
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Crushing Goals, providing support to both children and adults living with disabilities, including cerebral palsy and rare genetic conditions. Support is required across the Rockhampton and Yeppoon regions. Candidate must be available for early mornings and after school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised, empathetic support to individuals living with disabilities, tailored to their age and specific needs.
* Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal assistance, and community access.
* Use safe lifting and hoisting techniques to support clients' physical needs (training provided if required).
* Implement care routines and therapeutic activities that encourage independence, development, and overall wellbeing.
* Collaborate closely with families, health professionals, and the Crushing Goals team to ensure high-quality, consistent support.
* Previous experience with PEG feeding and supporting individuals with challenging behaviours will be considered a strong advantage.
