This role is a unique blend of technical payroll administration and rigorous auditing. You will oversee superannuation compliance, system configurations, and complex reporting.* ER & Payroll Audits: Execute comprehensive audits on all payroll and ER-required datasets to ensure accuracy and legislative adherence.EBA/Award audit comparison to system configuration* Audit Management: Take full ownership of existing audit schedules, ensuring no lapse in oversight or data integrity.* System Maintenance: Oversee and execute configuration setups within the payroll system to reflect changes in legislation, company policy, or EBAs.* Process Optimization: Identify system gaps and work to streamline payroll workflows through better technical utilization.* Reporting: Design and generate complex reports for stakeholders, focusing on compliance metrics, labor costs, and audit findings.* Technical Support: Partner with the Senior Payroll Officer to navigate complex payroll processes and legislative changes.* Payroll Processing: Provide \"hands-on\" support to the payroll team during peak periods or leave, ensuring the end-to-end pay run is completed accurately and on time.* Identifying and implementing process improvements: identify process improvement opportunities within, Payroll, HRIS and users of Dayforce* Payroll Expertise: Proven experience in a high-volume payroll environment with a deep understanding of end-to-end processing.* Systems Knowledge: Strong technical proficiency in payroll & Time and Attendance systems is essential.
