Tell me about this role:
We are currently looking for a Baseline security cleared Systems Engineer to join our team on a permanent part time basis. You will support engineering activities related to SouthPan which provides improved positioning and navigation services in Australia, New Zealand, and its maritime region.

What will I be doing day to day?
* Manage and maintain system requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment with stakeholder needs
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure technical alignment
* Provide expert technical advice to support decision-making across engineering and project teams
* Conduct technical reviews of designs, documentation, and deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
* Develop and implement engineering processes tailored to the needs of the SouthPan project
* Plan and execute technical testing activities, including validation and verification of system components
* Perform data analysis to support system performance assessments, troubleshooting, and reporting
What sort of skills do I need?
* Bachelor degree qualifications in Systems Engineering Communications or related field
* Understanding of space, satellite or aviation related engineering
* Strong communication skills
* Process orientated with good attention to detail
* Australian citizenship and a minimum Baseline security clearance
