Laborers & Packers
Craig Mostyn Group – Leading food and agribusiness in Australia. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Linley Valley Pork team.
Responsibilities
* Handle pork products safely: trimming, slicing, basic butchering tasks (removal of bones and excess fat).
* Prepare and process meat products to AusMeat standards as part of a team.
* Operate production machinery such as infeed systems, carcase scanning equipment, stringing, netting, and strapping machines.
* Assist with quartering (splitting of carcasses) and transporting carcasses, including pushing sides.
* Perform packing, bagging, labeling, and general laboring duties as required.
* Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times, including proper use of PPE.
* Keep work areas clean, including floor cleaning and washdown tasks.
* Sharpen knives as required using stone and steel (desirable skill).
* Follow all safety rules and animal handling requirements to ensure humane and compliant processing.
* Communicate clearly with teammates and leaders, contributing to a reliable, enthusiastic, and safety-focused work environment.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and consistency in daily tasks.
* Have working rights for Australia and not need sponsorship.
Shifts Available
* Offal Room – 7am – 3:30pm
* Value Add AM – 6:00am – 2:
* Value Add PM – 12:00pm – 8:30pm
* Boning Room AM – 4:00am – 12:30pm
* Boning Room PM – 1:00pm – 9:30pm
* Night Shift – 11pm – 7:00am
