About us
Sarina & District Community Financial Services Ltd (SDCFSL) operates Community Bank Sarina Bendigo Bank. We are a profit for purpose organisation, locally owned and managed, with a proud 20-year history of investing more than $5 million into supporting our community through community grants, sponsorships, donations and scholarships.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Business and Partnerships Coordinator to build strong relationships and drive initiatives that strengthen both our business and our community. This new role will deliver our Community Impact Strategy through the Community Engagement Program, connecting people, organisations and opportunities that make a lasting difference locally.
Reporting directly to the Board, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery – developing plans, gaining approval and implementing initiatives that create measurable community impact.
About you
You are an experienced relationship builder with skills in partnerships, community engagement or business development, and you are confident working with a Board of Directors and senior stakeholders.
Key skills include:
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Initiative and self-management
* Highly organised with attention to detail
* Strategic thinker who enjoys seeing plans come to life
We are seeking someone with degree qualifications (or near completion) in business, marketing, management, project management or a related field.
Full-time is preferred, however flexibility for part-time hours (minimum 30 per week) will be considered. As this role is community and stakeholder facing, attendance at some after-hours meetings or events will be needed.
Why join us?
This is not a traditional business development role – it is about people, purpose and connection. You will join a small, passionate team where your work directly contributes to community impact, local prosperity and genuine change.
This is your opportunity to be part of something bigger
