WA Fuels is looking for a Fuel Maintenance and Installation Technician to join our team based in Wattleup, supporting operations across Perth and regional WA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work, site-based servicing, and being part of a safety-focused operation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Tank Operations Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, installing, and servicing fuel systems and associated equipment across multiple sites.
This is a diverse, field-based role with a mix of workshop fabrication, site servicing, and compliance-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Servicing petroleum equipment including spill kits, filters, and interceptors
* Conducting fuel tank and pipework integrity testing
* Performing general fuel system maintenance and repairs
* Installing and servicing remote tank systems and fuel management systems
* Assembling fuel systems and components from engineering drawings
* Completing meter calibrations and tank gauging system testing
* Carrying out site inspections and due diligence audits
* Supporting workshop activities including:
o Fuel tank setups
o Pipe, hose, and fittings assembly
o Painting and equipment preparation
* Managing waste pump-outs and environmental controls
* Maintaining strong housekeeping and safety standards
This role operates under strict safety and compliance frameworks aligned with IMS and WHS requirements.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, practical, and safety-focused.
Essential:
* Current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
* Forklift Licence
* Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets
* Strong problem-solving ability
* Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
Desirable (Highly Regarded):
* MR Licence
* Experience with fuel systems or petroleum equipment
