Role
We're on the lookout for a Kitchen Attendant to join our team at our Nambucca Heads V-Wall Pavillion site.
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you'll play a key role in kitchen cleaning duties as well as assisting line cooks by completing food preparation tasks, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and residents, and having fun while doing it
Location: Nambucca Heads V Wall is a stunning coastal location where the Nambucca River meets the ocean, offering a scenic and tranquil setting perfect for reflection and inspiration ideal for candidates seeking a peaceful yet vibrant community atmosphere.

In this Role, You'll
* Food preparation and storage: Receive, store, and prepare ingredients (including defrosting, chopping, and marinating) following hygienic food handling practices.
* Cleaning and sanitation: Wash dishes, clean kitchen areas and equipment, manage waste and recycling, and maintain cleanliness throughout all kitchen zones.
* Team collaboration: Support a respectful, communicative, and productive team environment by contributing to meetings and continuous improvement.
* Workplace health and safety: Follow WHS policies, report hazards or incidents, and use approved chemicals safely with correct PPE.
* General support: Carry out additional duties as directed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

* Skills and knowledge: Understanding of HACCP and its application in food safety programs; accredited food safety training.
* Personal attributes: Self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented, communicative, responsive, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Physical requirements: Able to lift, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods; operate kitchen equipment safely; use cleaning products and PPE as required.
