As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role supporting participants in our Community Access Programme and in-home care servicesThe successful candidates will possess the experience to work with individuals with complex care needs.
Local applicants are preferred.Key Duties Include:Medication administrationHome Based Daily Living SupportTaking participants for appointments and other community participationBehaviour observation and supportMeal preparation and shopping assistanceMaintaining a record of participant progressAssessing participants to determine continuing needsAssistance in building participant self-image and self-confidenceManual Handling of participantsAvailability to cover a range of shifts including sleepovers and weekendsAll other tasks as assignedDesired Skills and ExperienceWho We're Looking ForWe are seeking experienced, capable support workers.The successful candidates will have:Ownvehicle for transport with comprehensive insurance.Ability to work varied shifts, including short shifts.CertificateIII or IV in Disability, Ageing or related industries highly regarded.Current FirstAid &CPR certificate.Current National Police Clearance.Current NT Unrestricted Driver's Licence.Current NDIS Worker's Check.Current OCHRE Card.If you are interested in working with Hands on People but do not meet these guidelines, please submit an EOI application to be considered for future roles.If you are values-driven and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you
