About the role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Float Educator to join our team at Byrneville House Childcare Centre in Ipswich, QLD. This part-time role will see you providing high-quality care and education to children across our centre, filling in where needed to support our permanent educators.
What you'll be doing
* Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children of all ages
* Supporting the delivery of the centre's educational program and learning activities
* Assisting with daily routines such as meals, rest times and transitions
* Communicating effectively with children, families and the broader team
* Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all policies and procedures
* Continuously improving your skills and knowledge through professional development
What we're looking for
* A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Proven experience working as an Educator in a long day care or outside school hours care setting
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* A genuine passion for providing exceptional care and education to young children
