Senior Mental Health Clinician Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and experience in mental health interventions. As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and intervention, case-management and single session/brief therapy with children and young people experiencing emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties and their families.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for providing discipline specific consultation and assessment to clients and clinical services internal and external to the service. You will also have responsibilities for managing and coordinating referrals and intakes into the service.
We are looking for someone with approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for registration with the relevant professional registering body. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability in the provision of a full range of mental health interventions at a senior level.
