The Role
This role will focus on reviewing and validating Azure infrastructure platforms to ensure environments are resilient, scalable, and recovery-ready. You will work across key Azure infrastructure services including compute, networking, storage and backup, helping assess configurations against best practices and supporting resilience improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Review Azure compute, networking, storage and backup configurations
* Assess VM Scale Sets, autoscaling behaviour and platform health models
* Evaluate Application Gateway, Azure Firewall and network edge resilience
* Validate storage redundancy options such as ZRS / GZRS
* Review backup and recovery posture, including Recovery Services Vault configuration
* Collect configuration evidence and technical inputs for resilience assessment documentation
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with Azure infrastructure engineering
* Knowledge of resilience, backup and disaster recovery in Azure
* Experience working with Azure networking, storage and compute services
* Understanding of monitoring, scaling and recovery readiness
* Ability to translate technical findings into clear documentation and assessment evidence
