The Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful applicant will perform carpentry work.
Key Responsibilities
* Construct, assemble, install and repair timber and metal frameworks and structures.
* Measure, cut, shape and join timber and other construction materials.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Install doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, fixtures, and fittings.
* Inspect and maintain existing structures, replacing or repairing defective parts.
* Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely.
* Ensure all work complies with building codes, standards, and site safety requirements.
Skills and Experience
* AQF Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
* At least 1 - 2 years of relevant full-time work experience.
* Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.
Salary and Conditions
* Salary: 76,000 per annum + superannuation.
* Full-time, 38 hours per week.
* Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project schedules.
