Job Overview
The Senior Infrastructure Sales Director will be responsible for cultivating existing client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in infrastructure outsourcing, and driving the growth of large-scale deals. This role will collaborate closely with Vertical Engagement Managers to proactively target key accounts and work alongside CIS delivery teams to deliver optimized customer solutions.
* Cultivating existing client relationships and opening up new business opportunities.
* Identifying and pursuing large infrastructure outsourcing deals in targeted new markets and existing customers.
* Leading deal execution by engaging with customers, advisors, vertical teams, partners, and CIS delivery.
* Developing technical solutions that meet customer needs.
* Creating value-added solutions for customers through proactive pursuits and response to RFPs/RFIs.
* Providing technical expertise and guidance to customers on Cloud and Infrastructure services solutions.
* Presenting client-facing proposals, conducting due diligence, and managing transitions in new infrastructure engagements (as required).
* Translating business and system requirements into effective technical solutions.
* Acting as a subject matter expert, providing direction and guidance to technical teams working on solution elements.
* A minimum of 15-18 years' experience in infrastructure management, operations, or technology consulting.
* At least 10 years' experience in Cloud and Infrastructure sales, specializing in datacentre technologies, converged systems, voice and data networks, end-user technologies, ITSM tools, and public cloud.
* Prior experience leading large deals and collaborating with sourcing advisors like ISG, KPMG, and ITNewcom.
* Subject matter expertise in one or more infrastructure disciplines, such as networking, datacentre design, storage, etc.
* Ideal candidates will have held positions such as CTO, Director, or higher in infrastructure management/operations or infrastructure engineering, or lead a solutions/delivery team for an infrastructure service provider.
