Senior Helpers
To provide hands-on technical support to ensure the effective operation of computer systems, software applications, and related equipment. The role focuses on resolving day-to-day ICT issues, supporting users, and maintaining reliable systems across the organisation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Identify software and hardware requirements and apply appropriate solutions to technical issues
• Respond to user enquiries relating to software, hardware, and system functionality
• Install, configure, and update operating systems and business applications
• Adapt and configure existing software or settings to meet user and operational needs
• Support the effective and efficient use of ICT applications and equipment
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of computer networks and connected devices
• Repair, replace, and maintain peripheral equipment such as printers, terminals, and modems
• Maintain basic technical documentation and support records
Skills and Experience
• Practical experience providing ICT support in a business or service environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
• Experience supporting Windows-based systems and common business software
Qualifications
• Diploma-level qualification or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field
