We advise on real estate, credit, venture capital, private equity and equities funds that are offered to retail and wholesale investors.This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Sydney Investment Funds practice and further develop your legal and commercial skills.What does the role involve?We can offer you the opportunity to join a high performing team which often works on matters with an international element. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fulfil this position on a full-time basis.On a day to day basis you will have the chance to:Work in a team-based environment, working collaboratively, with partners and other senior lawyers on technically challenging mattersPrepare investment fund formation documentation including trust deeds, limited partnership deeds, management agreements, information memoranda and product disclosure statementsPrepare transaction documents for transactions involving fundsPrepare advice on corporate and financial services laws applicable to investment managersAssist global investment managers operating in the Australian marketObtain offshore advice from other K&L Gates offices for Australian investment management clients with overseas operations, including in the US, UK, Europe, HK and SingaporeLiaise with regulators and industry bodiesAbout youWe value our culture at K&L Gates and are proud of our friendly and respectful reputation. You should be practical and proactive in your approach in addition to demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and work well in a team.
