Role Description
This is a full‐time, on‐site Payroll Manager role based in Adelaide, SA. The Payroll Manager will oversee end‐to‐end payroll processing for multiple client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payment cycles. Responsibilities include managing payroll schedules, validating time and attendance data, calculating earnings and deductions, and coordinating garnishments, payroll taxes, and employee benefits with a high level of precision. The role will monitor compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, maintain up‐to‐date payroll records, and prepare periodic reports and reconciliations. The Payroll Manager will also respond to payroll‐related inquiries, support audits, identify process improvements, and collaborate closely with HR, finance, and client stakeholders to deliver consistent, high‐quality service.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management, including end‐to‐end processing and reconciliation.
* Hands‐on experience handling Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, with a solid understanding of relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
* Experience administering Employee Benefits within payroll, including leave, superannuation, and other entitlements.
* Advanced proficiency with payroll systems and HRIS platforms, and strong Excel or equivalent spreadsheet skills.
* Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational abilities in a deadline‐driven environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly to non‐specialists.
* Proven experience in a payroll leadership or senior payroll role, ideally within an outsourced or multi‐client environment.
* Relevant tertiary qualification or certification in payroll, accounting, finance, or a related field is highly regarded.
