About The Role
We are seeking a commercially experienced Financial Controller to join the Executive Leadership Team. This leadership position is accountable for protecting profitability, strengthening financial governance, and influencing operational performance across the property.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, with functional alignment to the CFO, you will act as the financial conscience of the hotel, challenging assumptions, interrogating variances, and ensuring disciplined commercial decision‐making.
The Mandate
You Will Be Responsible For
* Driving P&L performance and margin protection
* Translating revenue strategy into financial flow‐through
* Managing labour cost discipline and departmental accountability
* Leading forecasting, budgeting and scenario modelling
* Evaluating CapEx and business cases for ROI and viability
* Safeguarding compliance across all statutory obligations
* Maintaining robust internal controls and audit readiness
* Leading and developing a high‐performing finance team
What We Are Looking For
* CA or CPA qualified
* Minimum 10 years' finance experience
* At least 3 years as a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role within hospitality
* Understanding of hotel performance drivers beyond the balance sheet
* Comfortable challenging operational stakeholders
* Strong governance discipline and high integrity
* Ability to move comfortably between strategy and operational detail
