The regions leading land developer is looking to expand their team and add a development manager to their planning and engineering team.
About the role
As the Development Manager, you will manage the planning and preliminary design component of project development, with a strong focus on integrating urban design principles to improve community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing project scopes, programs and feasibility assessments.
* Coordinate consultants across planning, urban design, engineering Structural Architecture
* Monitor project risks and opportunities enabling timely delivery and approval
* Support preparation of planning applications, layout and planning reports
* Liaise with stakeholders to work through issues with secure approval of projects
* Monitor progress of consultants against program and budgets
* Develop and manage project status reports
* Support community engagement activities related to design and public realm matters
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in project management, planning, urban design, engineering or related field
* 3-6 years' experience in development, planning urban design or construction
* Experience coordinating consultants and design approval processes
