Operating within a Joint Venture framework for e2x, the Buyer will support the project in the delivery of the project and be responsible for procurement related matters. This role will support the Supply Chain Function with procurement of construction materials, equipment and support services for the project.

The Opportunity
Your focus will include:
* Supporting the Supply Chain Manager and coordinating with procurement team, to define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems goods for the project
* Raising and issuing of confirmed Purchase Order agreements in accordance with Clough procedures
* Managing the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned packages
* Working with Vendor management to Pre-qualifying Suppliers where required
* Ensuring use of existing MSA providers for relevant Goods and Services
* Reporting activities to manage and mitigate critical issues detected while carrying out the procurement process
What you will bring to the team:
* 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role as a Buyer
* Documented experience of managing procurement of major equipment packages for infrastructure projects
* Exposure to EPC type reimbursable projects
* Previous experience working with SAP would be highly regarded
* Competent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
* Experience in expediting delivery of purchased equipment and associated Supplier documentation
* Basic knowledge and understanding of materials management systems and processes and practical experience of maintaining purchasing/expediting data in materials management systems
