**About the role**
In this role, you will work collaboratively to co-ordinate key stakeholders and services in line with the Transport Accident Act, to support rehabilitation for client's to get their lives back on track. You will manage a large portfolio of clients who have sustained significant injuries and may have significant biopsychosocial issues which impact upon their recovery. You will take a holistic view of your clients' needs, focusing on all areas of their lives, not just their injuries; developing and implementing plans for a client centered approach to support recovery.
**About the Team**
These roles will be a part of our Relationship Management Branch within the Clients Division who is responsible for achieving efficient, just and cost-effective injury recovery and independence outcomes for those injured in transport accidents. This division and its outcomes have a fundamental and direct impact on the performance of the TAC as a whole in the areas of client outcomes, return to work, scheme participation, financial scheme performance, common law resolution, legal, and client experience.
The Relationship Management branch includes 9 Relationship Management teams who support a cohort of clients including the following:
- **Child & Youth / Families**: Children, youth & families key focuses are family, education & community participation.
- **Mental Injury Only (MIO)**:Clients who have sustained mental injuries from either witnessing transport accidents, or from losing a family member from a transport accident.
- **Diverse Communities**: Clients who have diverse supported recovery needs, including those related to language, culture and spirituality.
- **Clients Aged 65+**: Clients over 65 years of age. The key focus is managing the complexities that may be present in older clients that have had a transport accident.
- **Job Focus Teams x 3 teams (Employed/Self Employed/ Job Unattached)**: Job focus teams aim to impact positive Return to Work outcomes with clients who are self-employed, job attached or unattached. This is achieved through early intervention and proactive engagement with a client, their employer where applicable and providers to ensure rehabilitation is tailored to support work readiness.
- **Complex Rehabilitation**: Clients who have sustained a severe injury/injuries that are usually permanent and likely to receive an impairment rating of 50% of more, often resulting in complex and lengthy rehabilitation needs.
**What we're looking for**
**Client and stakeholder management**
- Assess client needs and develop plans in relation to a biopsychosocial model. Clear communication with the client pertaining to the goals of the plan and the scope of practice that TAC will support alongside formal and informal supports for non-motor vehicle accident related needs.
- Continuously review the effectiveness of service provision and work with the client to adapt their recovery plan to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
- Engage with clients and key stakeholders, to facilitate return to work goals and programs to aid in the client's recovery journey
- Empower the client to choose the most appropriate services to meet targeted needs
**Empathy**
- Use empathy and develop rapport to engage in meaningful conversations with clients, utilizing motivational strategies to support them on their recovery journey
- Professionally engage with stakeholders to collaborate toward best outcomes for clients
